Jessie Patton, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, learning differences, and life transitions such as divorce and remarriage.

Jessie Patton, LCSW specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, school avoidance, trauma, learning differences, picky eating, and life transitions. Ms. Patton also provides parent coaching sessions with the goal of reducing child symptoms, increasing parent effectiveness, and improving the parent-child relationship. Ms. Patton’s clinical expertise includes facilitating individual, group, and family therapy, as well as parent training sessions focused on improving the parent-child relationship. Skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Family Systems Therapy, Ms. Patton infuses a relational and strengths-based approach into all of her work with clients – believing that relationships are critical tool for healing.
Ms. Patton has previous clinical experience working in community-based, therapeutic foster care, and behavioral health hospital settings. Most recently, Ms. Patton has served in both clinical and supervisory roles at Dominion Hospital, serving adolescents and their families in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), and School Refusal Program. Ms. Patton has also provided professional development presentations on preventing teen suicide and treating anxiety-based school refusal behavior.
Ms. Patton received her bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Towson University and master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from George Mason University. Ms. Patton has completed various trainings to include Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
