Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellowship
At CFA, we offer a rigorous and enriching, year- long postdoctoral fellowship designed to deepen your theoretical and practical experience in an outpatient setting. Postdocs will develop advanced clinical skills while enjoying both exceptional supervision and genuine camaraderie by joining our warm, highly regarded team, at a group practice that puts your interest first!
CFA’s Post-Doctoral Fellowship offers an exceptional opportunity for emerging clinicians to gain hands-on experience, hone their therapeutic skills, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and families. Our fellowship emphasizes a supportive, growth-oriented environment where postdocs can tailor their clinical focus based on their interests:
Child and Adolescent Therapy Track
Focus exclusively on psychotherapy, managing a caseload of 20-25 weekly contact hours with children and adolescents. Modalities include individual, family, and group therapy, offering diverse and hands-on clinical experience.
Psychological Assessment Track
Combine therapy with psychological assessments for conditions such as ADHD, Autism, and mood disorders. This track is ideal for postdocs looking to build diagnostic skills while maintaining clinical work.
School Consultation Track
Tailor your psychotherapy caseload to gain experience working closely with schools, providing consultation on 504 and IEP meetings, and collaborating on interventions to support students’ socio-emotional growth. You’ll also have the opportunity to shadow specialized school-based evaluations.
